Our farm was established in 1956 and is actively farmed by Robert, Heather and Joyce Huber and family.  We grow and process a wide variety of non-GMO crops that feed our livestock.  Also we have abundant bedding materials for the comfort of livestock along with a large enough land base to apply the resulting solid manure.  We have the complete beef cycle, from the mother cow through to the finished market ready animal.  The breeds we use are that of British heritage.  Angus, Hereford, and Shorthorn.  These breeds are known for their feed efficiencies and tender, fine textured, succulent meats.  These cattle are all grown without the use of hormones or antibiotic type feed additives.

We also raise Berkshire crossed pigs which are noted for enhanced flavour due to increased presence of marbling that is achieved by our cross breeding program..  The same as with our cattle operation, we raise our hogs from birth through to finished market ready animal.  Our 30 to 40 sows are housed as peer groups in pens bedded with straw.  The vast majority of the non-GMO grains fed to our pigs is home grown and processed with only the vitamins, minerals and some of their required protein purchased off farm. Our pigs are raised with no antibiotics and no ractopamine hydrochloride administered through their feed or water. 
Our pigs are also fed Selenium and Vitamin E which are beneficial to the health of our herd and importantly beneficial to the people that consume the pork.  E and Selenium strengthen the immune system of both.
